The Milan is a sophisticated digital musical instrument for providing sur (pitch) and laya (rhythm) accompaniment to performers of Indian music. It incorporates state of the art technology to produce natural and realistic Tanpura and Tabla sound in one compact product. It is housed in an attractive, unbreakable, light-weight (Size: 230mm x 135mm x 190mm; Weight: approx 1 kg) and safe ABS plastic cabinet. It can be directly operated on any voltage from 90V -260V AC or on a set of batteries (it uses six AA size batteries of 1.5V each). It automatically switches over to batteries (DC) on failure of mains power (AC). A line-out socket (1/8″” ) is provided. The Special Features of the Milan are: Generation of amazingly realistic Tanpura sound. Generation of stunningly realistic Tabla sound.
