Nishant Jain was born in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. He did his MPhil from Delhi University and worked for two years at the Lok Sabha Secretariat.

Born and brought up in an ordinary background in Meerut, U.P., Nishant qualified CSE in his second attempt. After graduation in History, Political Science & English and Post-graduation in Hindi Literature, he qualified NET-JRF Exam ofUGC.
